"We have almost learnt to respect our world"

I don't agree with this afirmation because there are a lot of awfull thing that happen in our world.
Nature are used to get more resources to states, and they break up all the views of the world, killing animals and vegetation. For example USA destroys a lot of trees only to get one that they wanted. 10 trees for 1 is it good for nature¿¿ That are changing the climate of the world and are destroying and killing a lot of animals. The polution of the sea and the air is evident and now we can observe the concequences that before we didn't see because it wasn't important but now is one of the biggest problem of the society.
If people don't respect a little bit more the enviorement, probably there won't exist animals in the world, and humans too are in the same danger.
